Character, covers, and cons
August was split between character-building and cover experiments. Both kept me on my toes — Paul because he won’t behave, and the covers because I keep teasing without revealing.
👤 Character Spotlight: Paul Coles
Notorious for terrible advice, and even worse at resisting it himself. Trouble was never far. He’s charming when it helps, evasive when it doesn’t, allergic to paperwork, and deeply unlucky in timing. Trouble finds him — and he finds excuses.
🎨 Cover Experiments
I’ve been trying out blurred mock-ups and “wrapped” visuals for TikTok and Instagram. The fun (and frustration) is figuring out how much to show. Some say tease, some say reveal — I’m learning on the job.
🔍 Teaser: Alison’s Turn
Next time, I’ll introduce Alison — the receptionist who doesn’t miss a thing, and who might just out-smart Paul.
